Scott and I met up with Kristin & Jayson several days ago for an engagement shoot at the Stone Arch Bridge. This just happens to be one of my favorite locations for photography, with the wide array of rustic backgrounds. The possibilities are endless. Scott and I had a great time getting to know Kristin & Jayson a little better. They have amazing chemistry which made our job all the more easy. It was a pleasure to capture some of their sweet expressions. Thanks for the fun evening, and for letting us catch a glimpse of your sincere love for one another. It was beautiful!

I absolutely loved this wall. We had to trudge through a field and down a hill to get to this. Jayson and Kristin were all for it!

Two different cameras...

I love how intimate this feels.

Robyn and I were given a great couple to work with, Kellin and Clint, and a wonderful day to boot. Right after dinner we ran down to a pond and took a bunch of photos. The light was magical and we came away with some really wonderful shots. I want to put some on my walls. :)

I found out Kellin is a fellow Twins fan. "They won last night"

Robyn found a great place for a shoe shot.

I caught this sweetie watching Kellin, when I said: "Someday that will be you", she coyly smirk.

Thanks Kellin and Clint. We knew we were going to love working with you. Robyn and I truly enjoyed your special day and were so honored to be apart of it.
We just picked up a new lens, a 15mm fish-eye. This is a speciality lens that will help us add accents to wedding day imagery. We’ll be using it in limos, on the dance floor, or whenever we find ourselves in a tight spot and need a super-wide angle. I wanted to take some test shots, and since Robyn would not sit for me I had to find a captive audience. Guess who that would be? Yes, our little Sienna loves to have her photo taken!

Look at those eyes...they are saying fun fun fun.

Hmmm....maybe Daddy wants some.

What we find so amazing about this little 14 month old is that she loves to give you things. Here she is willing to give me her bottle. She commonly says, "thank you" after giving you something. So adorable.

Of course, this is how we will usually be using our new lens. We have another special lens on the way too. I will save that for another post.
