Robyn and I are so impressed with Charlene and Sam, let’s just say they have a special place in our hearts. We booked around town together on an engagement shoot and got to know them so much better. We had a great time hearing stories of their years growing up as well as their relationship. We are excited to be apart of their wedding, we know it’s going to be a wonderful celebration of Christ centered love.

We started the shoot right here in Inver Grove. We saw this huge field of dandelions waiting for us. Did you know that this common weed is not indigenous to North America. Early colonist brought them over.

Robyn and I have a little bet going on this photo. Vote away is all I can say :)

How fun is this! We love creating unique photos.

We were liking the light and the ring, great combo.
-
-
Okay, this is my favorite. I love photos when the couple appear to be unaware of the camera.

On the way home we had to stop and take a few shots against this awesome wall.

Just before we left these two lights came on. Time for one more photo! Charlene & Sam, we had a blast with you two. Talk to you later.
Jennifer and Andrew were married a few weeks ago on a rainy, Saturday afternoon in Edina, but that didn’t stop the fun. Check out the photos and comments below. This was a great wedding and we were honored to be apart of it. Here we go….
-
-
Thumbs Up...It's going to be a great day even though we are all just trying to stay dry under the awning.
-
-
Jennifer intently studies her hair in the mirror.
-
-
Andrew wore his Grandfather's shirt cuffs...cool ones at that.
-
-
Jennifer was so patient as we played with her veil to get just the right look.
-
-
Jennifer looks up to spot Andrew waiting in the balcony for First Look.
-
-
The emotion we witnessed here was sweet.
-
-
On to some photos of the bride and groom.
-
-
-
-
-
-
We asked the girls to shake their dresses after some more formal photos.
-
-
Are these flower girls adorable or what?
-
-
-
One more kiss before greeting the guests.
-
-
Andrew and Jennifer cool themselves off right after the ceremony.
-
-
Here is my favorite of the day. A gentle kiss in the back of the limo.
-
-
Look who Robyn found posing in the bathroom.
-
-
This is who I found posing in the hall. We both love kids. Can you tell?
-
-
A fond childhood memory of Andrew's is his father's phone calls posing as Spiderman, thus the cake.
-
-
While Robyn shot this angle....
-
-
... I covered this.
-
-
Chris said, "Andrew is the type of guy who would give anyone the shirt off his back...if it would only fit." Andrew laughed so long and hard I could fill the rest of the blog with those images alone.
-
-
Here they are, dancing to: "The Sunshine of My Life"
-
-
-
Andrew is not drunk. Jennifer spun him around and around and around before the garter toss.
-
-
He still looks a little dizzy to me.
-
-
I love this second angle Robyn captured on the toss. Awesome!
-
-
-
Cool markers identified each table. The markers revealed information about the bride and groom. Great idea.
-
-
We had to break out our macro lens to get a shot of Jennifer's very unique ring.

One last image of the happy couple. Thanks guys. We had a blast covering your wedding. It was an honor to be apart of it.
Last week Scott and I headed to Chaska for a fun-filled engagement session with Heidi and Keith. The couple were great sports for all our crazy ideas. First we started off at a local ice cream parlor, in memory of Heidi and Keith’s first date. Apparently they went out for ice cream, and talked for hours on a park bench. So, being an ice cream lover myself, I couldn’t pass this one by.

-
Strawberry looks good on you Keith.
-
-
-
There were some railroad tracks right in front of the ice cream parlor that were just asking to be used as a prop.

-
This is Buckley (A.K.A. Buck). He has the most amazing eyes- one bright blue, and the other brown.
-
-
What a happy family!
-
-
I love the texture of this wall.
-
-
-
Good boy Buck!
-
-
Next, we met up with Heidi's gorgeous horse, Clancy. She was quite the trooper.
-
-
Yummy grass

Group hug

Guess who Clancy loves?

Heidi has the most beautiful eyes- stunning.

Thanks for putting up with all our ideas Heidi and Keith! We can't wait for your wedding in October!
