Robyn and I have been so busy this fall with weddings, engagement sessions, family and senior shoots that our blog has taken a back seat. Well, we are back with gusto. Leading off is a Christmas greeting card we originated the photography for. The card was designed by Renee at www.photocarddesign.com  Check out Renee’s fantastic design service after voting on your favorite Sienna photo below. After we finished photographing Claire and Anja for the “JOY” card, we put our own little Sienna in the hotseat (BTW, she’s not that little. She’s 17 months and in the 95 percentile for height). Anyways, we spent less than 15 minutes with Sienna but she gave us so many different looks. What was amazing about her session is how little we prompted her. We just let her play, which is kind of how we approach our wedding photography. Later friends and visitors, thanks for your votes. We love the feedback.

I can hardly believe how much our little Sienna Grace has changed in just a year. Last year at this time Sienna couldn’t even sit up on her own, and now she’s running all around (usually circles around us). Focusing never use to be an issue; just point and shoot. Now we have to set our cameras in aI servo mode if we want to get anything in focus since she’s constantly on the move. Occasionally we’re still blessed by Sienna’s stillness while composing, like in this instance, but you better shoot quick, because it’ll only last like 3.4 seconds :o). Ha Ha. We love our little Sienna, and all her developmental stages. Next she’ll want the keys to the car! OK, maybe she’ll need to reach the pedals before that, but with our long-legged cutie that won’t be long. Yikers :o/! What then?

Daniel Snow - Definitely a cutie! (11.07.08, 6:48 pm)
Kristine - I love the comparison photos!! What a sweetheart! (11.08.08, 12:28 am)
